Lisa Moses Leff is presenting at Limmud Oz 2019about the relationship between French Jews, the Revolution and Napoleon Bonaparte.
Lisa is a historian of European and Jewish history, specialising in the history of Jews in France, and won the 2016 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish literature for her book "The Archive Thief." Lisa is Professor of History at American University in Washington, DC, and Director of the Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust studies at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. She was named American University's 2017 Scholar-Teacher of the Year.
