Two jam-packed days are ready to be in full swing for this year's Young Limmud, the kids program of Limmud-Oz. The Young Limmud team for 2015 is chaired by Liat Ravia, also in the team this year we have Adam Carpenter, Teresa Petrzelka, Justine Saidman and Martene Stoch. Limmud-Oz co-chair, Angela Zinn is also a big help to the committee this year.
The team have finished organising presenters, and the program is now finalised and online. There are lots of fun and exciting activities in store for the children! There will be music, drama, Krav Maga, cooking, a yoga session, art and even a session on how to write a news story conducted by the Australian Jewish News.
Some of the presenters from the main Limmud-Oz program are also running sessions at Young Limmud including, Rabbi Zalman Kastel, Hamutal Gouri and Adam Starr and Noam Sendor from the Alter Jazz Ensemble.
The children will be split up into two age groups; Kindergarten - year 2 and years 4-7. The Young Limmud program will be running on both the Sunday and Monday of Limmud-Oz from 9:15am- 5pm and pre-registration is required.
